Day 1
Arrive in Jaipur (stay at Rajmahal Palace RAAS, Jaipur)
Welcome to Jaipur! Upon your arrival, a member of our team will be there to warmly greet you and escort you to your first RAAS hotel, the stunning Rajmahal Palace. After settling in, they’ll arrange a time for your guided exploration tomorrow, ensuring you’re all set to experience the city. For a truly relaxed start, why not indulge in your complimentary spa therapy? It’s the perfect way to unwind. As part of your RAASHopper experience, you’ll be treated to:

  • 4 hours at the spa, per person
  • Daily breakfast, plus your choice of lunch or dinner daily
  • 20% savings on any extra food, beverages and spa treatments
  • 2 complimentary nights for staying 7 or more with the group (already included in our guide price)
  • One curated experience at each RAAS hotel, such as a private yoga session at RAAS Devigarh or a tuk-tuk ride through Jodhpur’s blue city
  • Flexible check-in and check-out times

The Rajmahal Palace is one of India’s most exciting hotel openings in recent years – though calling it “new” would be an understatement. Dating back to 1729, this former royal residence of the Maharaja of Jaipur is steeped in a rich history. Now managed by RAAS hotels, the palace has been thoughtfully renovated by renowned Indian designer Adil Ahmad. Expect a bold blend of vibrant colours, bespoke furniture, and 46 unique, custom-made wallpapers. Each of the 14 rooms and suites is inspired by past guests, including Queen Elizabeth II, Lord Mountbatten, and Jackie Kennedy, offering a truly luxurious stay with an unmistakable sense of heritage.

Day 2
In Jaipur
Start your day in the most vibrant way with our guided early morning market walk in Jaipur. Watch as the Pink City comes to life, buzzing with energy and colour. Along the way, we’ll visit the fragrant flower market, the bustling wholesale milk market, the vibrant vegetable market, and the serene Govind Dev Ji temple, all wrapped up with a cup of chai from a local, much-loved tea shop. After this lively experience, you’ll have the option to return to your hotel for breakfast and a little rest before meeting your guide again to explore Jaipur’s old walled area.

Next, visit the City Palace, where you’ll have exclusive access to its lesser-known private rooms (with thanks to RAAS), followed by a stop at the Jantar Mantar observatory and the stunning Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds). To end your day, unwind with a cocktail at Bar Palladio, the perfect spot for a relaxed evening.

We love how the morning market walk offers a fresh perspective of India, showcasing her lively colours and daily rhythms beyond the usual forts and palaces. You’ll find these types of enriching, diverse experiences woven throughout all of our journeys.

Day 3
In Jaipur
On the morning of Day 3, you’ll head to the majestic Amber Fort for a guided tour, where you’ll immerse yourself in the history and beauty of this 16th-century gem. Afterward, enjoy some time at leisure to explore the vibrant markets and do a spot of shopping in Jaipur. Whether you’re searching for elegant textiles or quirky wooden crafts, the Pink City has something for every shopper. Even the most budget-conscious visitor is likely to find a special keepsake or two. For a truly authentic souvenir, we recommend a piece of semi-precious jewellery or a beautifully crafted piece of blue pottery.

Later, head to Dera Amer for a memorable evening with elephants. Located on the outskirts of the city, Dera Amer offers a magical experience where you can spend time with these majestic animals by feeding and bathing them, followed by a serene walk through the forest at sunset. If spending time with elephants isn’t quite your thing, we’d be happy to tailor this experience to your preferences, perhaps with a private cooking class or a special dinner recommendation. For those who do wish to meet elephants, Dera Amer provides a fantastic and ethical environment for this unforgettable experience.

Day 4 & 5
Jaipur to Nimaj (stay at RAAS Chhatrasagar, Nimaj)
Veering off the beaten path, today takes you to RAAS Chhatrasagar, a hidden gem nestled in the tranquil rural landscapes of Nimaj, Rajasthan. This beautiful tented camp is set around a serene lake teeming with local wildlife, home to over 250 species of birds that you can spot from virtually anywhere on the property. Whether you’re soaking in the panoramic views from your private sit-out or stargazing through your tent’s skylight, it’s a true haven of nature and absolute peace. Even the free-standing bathtub offers stunning views of the lake.

Upon arrival, you’ll immediately sense the calm. During your two-night stay, you can spend your time as you wish, perhaps a leisurely nature walk to explore the local flora and fauna, or a peaceful boat ride on the lake, where the sounds of nature provide the perfect backdrop. For a deeper connection to the region, a visit to the nearby village will offer a glimpse into the authentic daily life of rural Rajasthan.

Day 6
Nimaj to Jodhpur (stay at RAAS Jodhpur)
At your convenience, today we head to RAAS Jodhpur for a two-night stay. The drive is only a couple of hours, and it’s entirely up to you as to whether you spend the day at Chhatrasagar or get an early start to make the most of your time in the Blue City. Jodhpur is known as such thanks to the sea of blue-hued houses that surround the mighty Mehrangarh Fort. RAAS is nestled amongst them, right in the heart of the bustling bazaars. Yet, once you walk through their gates, you’re instantly transported to a moment of calm. Four beautifully restored old sandstone buildings are harmoniously blended with modern aesthetics, creating a contemporary oasis that offers the perfect base to explore this vibrant city. RAAS Jodhpur has one of our favourite luxury hotel views in Rajasthan.

Day 7
In Jodhpur
Your day begins with a privately guided tour of the Mehrangarh Fort museum. Unlike other forts in Rajasthan, Mehrangarh is still managed by the royal family of Jodhpur, who have done an exceptional job of bringing the city’s rich history to life through their carefully curated collections. In the afternoon, enjoy a guided walk through the old city, where you’ll explore the bustling bazaars and the iconic blue houses that have earned Jodhpur its nickname, the “Blue City.” You’ll also have the chance to visit Toorji ka Jhalra, a spectacular stepwell just a short walk from RAAS.

Once you get in touch, we’ll tailor your time in Jodhpur to match your personal interests. Whether you’d like to zip-line around the fort for a unique perspective, or dive into a hands-on cooking class with a local family, we have a plethora of experiences to share with you.

Day 8
Jodhpur to Udaipur via Ranakpur (stay at RAAS Devigarh)
Today, your Rajasthan tour with RAAS hotels reaches its final destination – Udaipur. Known for its enchanting beauty and romantic charm, this city, with its lakes and palaces, offers the perfect, easy-going setting to end your journey. Break the journey at the Jain temple in Ranakpur. With over 1,444 intricately carved pillars, it’s a fascinating place to stretch your legs on the way.

RAAS Devigarh is nestled on the rural outskirts of Udaipur city, yet still within easy reach of the City Palace and other key attractions, which you’ll explore with our expert local guide. At RAAS Devigarh, step into a world of Marwari horse murals, mirrored ante-chambers, elegant courtyards, arches, turrets, swings, and marble bowls filled with flowers. As night falls, the property is bathed in the soft glow of a thousand candles, under a sky full of stars.

Day 9
In Udaipur
Today, you’ll head into the city for a guided tour of Udaipur. The day’s highlights include a visit to the City Palace Museum, a serene boat ride on Lake Pichola to Jag Mandir, and a guided walk through the charming, narrow streets of the old city.

Day 10
In Udaipur
The final day of your Rajasthan tour with RAAS hotels is all about relaxation. You have the entire day at your leisure to unwind and enjoy as you please. Be sure to take advantage of either a complimentary yoga session or afternoon tea at Devigarh. If you’re in the mood for a little more exploration, a range of excursions can be arranged around the palace, from peaceful walks through Delwara village to exclusive private dining experiences.

Day 11
Depart from Udaipur
This morning, we’ll chauffeur you to Udaipur Airport for your onward flight. However, if you’d like to explore the region further, we can extend your itinerary to include a visit to the Thar Desert in Jaisalmer, thrilling tiger-spotting safaris in Ranthambhore National Park, or even a journey to the holy city of Varanasi to experience the sacred river Ganges (our Rajasthan with Varanasi tour might be up your street).

This journey includes accommodation on half board, a private car with driver throughout, experienced guides, entrance tickets and excursions, as well as the other special RAAS extras as detailed above. In other words, we offer a seamless and hassle-free experience where the only thing you need to worry about is soaking up the sights and enjoying your fabulous hotels. This indicative cost is per person, based on a couple travelling between October 2025 to March-end 2026, sharing a double room. The cost reduces during the low-season months of April to September, while it will be higher during the peak Christmas and New Year period.

Make it more you: Our Rajasthan Tour with RAAS Hotels sample journey is merely a starting point to share a flavour of the possibilities. It can be enjoyed all on its own, or use as inspiration to craft something truly bespoke. For example, why not pair a night or two at RAAS Devigarh with a night somewhere more central in Udaipur, like the dreamy Lake Palace? Or make your way to Jaipur via Agra, spending a night at the Oberoi Amarvilas to enjoy the Taj Mahal. For inspiration, check out our favourite boutique hotels in Rajasthan.

All our tours are private and tailor-made to complement your taste and interests. In essence, the itinerary described above is just a starting point, and together we can refine it into your ideal Indian experience.
