New heritage hotels in Jaipur are bringing a fresh take on tradition, offering all the romance of Rajasthan with a contemporary twist. Here are three we’re especially excited about for 2026:
1. Padmaa
Padmaa is a beautifully restored 18th-century haveli tucked away in the heart of Jaipur’s walled city. Its unsuspecting location amongst the narrow market streets makes it all the more charming, and perfect for exploring further on foot in the evenings. Step inside, though, and you’ll find a chic and peaceful space where traditional Rajasthani design is reinterpreted with a modern edge.
Built in 1735, Padmaa has remained in the same family for seven generations. Today there are 15 individually styled suites, each spacious and comfortable with a touch of heritage flair. Around the haveli you’ll find plenty of quiet corners to relax in — from the main courtyard to the rooftop terrace with views across the Pink City. There’s also a small spa and pool, and a restaurant that blends classic Rajasthani dishes with international flavours.
Being deep within Jaipur’s old bazaars, the lanes here are narrow (and a little chaotic!), so you’re collected from the main road in the hotel’s tuk-tuk. It’s quite the experience, weaving past cows, motorbikes, and shoppers on your way in. Among new heritage hotels in Jaipur, Padmaa stands out for its design, location, and strong family connections.
2. Dileep Kothi
Dileep Kothi offers a refined yet intimate stay in the heart of Jaipur. Once the town house of the Barli royal family, it has been sensitively reimagined into a boutique heritage hotel with just ten suites. Each one blends heritage character with modern comforts, and everywhere you look there are family touches — from heirlooms, like a silver perfume vial gifted on a wedding day, to the photographs that line the walls.
Dining is another highlight. Recipes from the royal family’s kitchen are served in settings that shift with the day — breakfast in the leafy courtyard, sunset suppers on the rooftop, or an elegant dinner indoors.
During our recent stay, the family went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, even taking us on a guided walk through the kothi to share the stories behind the photographs. This personal warmth, combined with its history, is what makes Dileep Kothi stand out among new heritage hotels in Jaipur.
3. Niravi
One of Jaipur’s newest heritage hotels, Niravi is quietly charming. Conceived by three sisters — and named after a blend of their first names — it carries their personal touch throughout. Set within Peelwa Gardens, Niravi feels like a calm retreat, even though it’s right in the centre of the Pink City.
The property is divided into two wings. The Bungalow holds six heritage-style rooms filled with soft light and traditional details, while the Estate Wing is more contemporary, with ten Deluxe Rooms, three Premier Rooms, and two Terrace Suites. Together, they create a thoughtful blend of old and new, with artisan finishes, clean lines, and hand-painted details.
During our stay, the Ayurvedic thali at dinner was a highlight. A selection of Rajasthani dishes, curated with Ayurvedic principles, it was nourishing, beautifully presented, and made all the more special enjoyed poolside by candlelight.
What we loved most about Niravi is the atmosphere: gardens alive with birdsong, breezy courtyards, and quiet spaces that invite you to pause. It feels relaxed, design-forward, and true to Jaipur’s character — a wonderful addition to the city’s new heritage hotels.
