Indian Excursions Co was founded in 2009, by Shiv Gurjar and Madeleine Hann. Together, they make the perfect team, specialising in private and utterly luxurious tours of Rajasthan. With a reputation for excellence and attention to detail, they’ll bend over backwards to ensure your tailor-made journey is nothing short of spectacular.
Personal service is at the heart of what we do. When we say tailor-made, we mean it! There’s no limit on the amount of time we’ll spend refining your itinerary with you until you’re satisfied. No request is too big or too small, and we strive to create a truly personalised experience.

Originally from England and based in India since 2011, Madeleine works closely with each guest to thoughtfully shape every itinerary around their individual pace, interests and travel style.

We believe that luxury travel is about more than just opulent hotels. It’s about new experiences, stepping off the usual tourist circuit to seek something more rewarding. We can help you embrace the rich culture of Rajasthan, revealing its beauty and hidden gems in unforgettable ways. We’re based in India’s capital city of Delhi and have additional offices through Rajasthan and north India. Our guests are mostly private individuals who have always dreamt of travelling to India but realise the amount of planning required. They recognise that their time is their most precious asset and want to entrust it to experts with a well-proven track record. We’re an intentionally small organisation. We send only a handful of guests a month on tour to Rajasthan. We have deliberately chosen to remain small to look after our guests to the best of our ability and enjoy the process as we go along. For us, Indian Excursions wouldn’t be the same otherwise. As specialists in private, luxury, tailor-made tours of Rajasthan, we regularly test first-hand all the routes, hotels and experiences we recommend. This ensures that every moment of our itineraries is as close to perfection as possible.
